Throughout the gospel accounts of Jesus’s life, we read about dozens of miracles and wonders that He performed. Was this simply showmanship and spectacle or do they offer something more? Join us for this series as we take a look at a few of the miracles of Jesus and what they reveal about Him.

Jesus Heals the Man Born Blind (02-20-2021)

The miracles of Jesus served as a sign that fulfilled OT prophecy and pointed to the fact that He was the long-awaited Messiah that God had promised. This week we will be looking briefly at the statement Jesus made where he declared that He was “the light of the world”, and then went out and healed a man who had been born blind and had been living with his blindness for over 40 years! Join us as we look at this amazing example and sign of both the compassion and deity of Jesus.

Jesus Heals the Paralytic (02-27-2021)

In the second week of this series, let's take a look at another miracle of Jesus where he heals a man who is paralyzed. Jesus focuses on healing this man's spirit, and then makes the man walk again. Join us as we take this miracle of healing the invisible--what's on the inside--and the visible--what's on the outside--and make it into a practical application in our lives.

Jesus Heals the Leper (03-06-2021)

The miracles of Jesus that we read about in the gospels, do more than just inform us of what He did; they also reveal who He was. This week we take a look at how Jesus challenged social and religious boundaries by touching the one person in society you do not touch.

Feeding of the 5000 (03-13-2021)

The miracles of Jesus reveal how He fulfills the role of Messiah, being both fully man and fully God. The feeding of the 5000 is one of the few accounts that can be read in all four Gospels. What can we learn from an account that all four gospels included?

Raising Lazarus from the Dead (03-20-2021)

The miracles of Jesus served as a sign that fulfilled OT prophecy and pointed to the fact that He was the long-awaited Messiah that God had promised. This week we will be looking briefly at the statement Jesus made where he declared that He was “The Resurrection and the Life”, and then went out and raised Lazarus from the dead! This account demonstrates not only the incredible Resurrection Power of Jesus, but also the fact that he readily identifies with our brokenness and enters with us into our pain. Join us as we look at this amazing example and sign of both the compassion and deity of Jesus.

Opposing, Blocking, Allowing (03-27-2021)

As we continue to look to the miracles of Jesus, we look at a wounded ear to help us discover if we are opposing, blocking or allowing the fullness of the Kingdom of God.

A Good Ol’ Gospel Message (04-03-2021)

During the Easter season, the Church celebrates the central figure and event that Christianity is founded upon: the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again! These simple truths became the gospel that would be spread around the world, but is it possible that the gospel as we understand it today has missed the key component of the gospel that Jesus came to proclaim?
