Love Over Fear Graphic.jpg

Today’s cultural landscape is overcome with polarization that forces people into opposing camps and pits them against each other. In this contentious time, the Church has a moral obligation to resist this trap of antagonism by showing the world what it looks like to truly love your neighbor—and your enemy—in the midst of your differences. Pulling from Dan White, Jr.’s Love Over Fear and other resources we will challenge our community to be light and love in the world around us.

Us vs. Them (06-13-2020)

Building on our previous series, we want to examine how the Church can live in such a way to bring light and love into the world. In order to do this, we must resist the cultural trap of the enemy-making machine that puts us into camps of “Us” vs. “Them.”

Inward Work (07-11-2020)

Rich Love (07-18-2020)

In order for us to show the world how powerful love can be, we must start by being honest with ourselves. How we begin to shed our natural defaults and instead “put on” grace and compassion will often times be the catalyst to others discovered the rich love of Jesus.

Choose Unity (07-25-2020)

Everything seems to be out of sorts these days. Between COVID-19, politics, racial divides, and our daily routines there isn’t much that seems “normal” in our world. What we decide proactively to do pertaining to our perspectives and relationships will often either unify or divide us even before we open our mouths. Making that choice ahead of time will often lead to people closer to Jesus than we might realize.
