My One Word 2019 (01-04-2019)

Instead of looking BACK and describing how your life has been with just ONE WORD, let's look FORWARD and determine where the LORD wants to take you in 2020. This year, as we search for our One Word, lets challenge ourselves to posture our hearts to say "Speak Lord, your servant is listening" and not "Listen Lord, your servant is speaking.”

My One Word 2018 (12-29-2018)

It's the time of year when everyone is talking about making a New Year's resolution to try to make some changes in our life in the coming year.  These resolutions are so often born out of our regrets as we look back on the past year, and are only as good a the strength and will power I have to live up to them.  This is usually a recipe for failure, which is why most new year's resolutions are broken within a few weeks and only about 20% of those who actually make them see any change in their life.  So, here's the deal, tonight we are going to challenge you to not make any resolutions this year, but instead to "change your lie with just one word!”  We want to challenge you to choose just one word that will reflect one area of your character that you want God to work in you and on you this year!

My One Word 2017 (12-31-2017)

A ton of us make New Year's resolutions but the statistics show that they are anything but effective. This week Pastor Steve challenges us with a new way of thinking about resolutions based on My One Word by Mike Ashcraft and Rachel Olsen.
