The early Church didn’t avoid conflict—it faced it head-on through communal discernment shaped by the Spirit. In Acts 15, we see that faithfulness isn’t about winning arguments or enforcing uniformity, but about listening deeply, holding Scripture and experience together, and prioritizing belonging over burden. Join us this week as we discuss how a Spirit-led Church is not conflict-free, but it is committed to navigating disagreement with humility, wisdom, and unity.

Awaken is a church of missional communities whose vision is to see individuals experience healing through the gospel, be raised to their fullest potential among community, and sent out to live a life on mission. Currently, our MCs gather together as one community twice a month for a time of worship, teaching, and celebrating stories of what God is doing in our midst. We have agreed to help a friend out in developing a tool to help churches assess their current stage of life, health, and future possibilities.
